Small steps, big change
Our story began in 1929, when William J. Eddington and W.J. Lynn founded the company in Melbourne.
Starting with cordials and candied fruit peel, the fledgling business weathered century-defining challenges like the Great Depression and WW2.
By the 40s and 50s, Edlyn was at the heart of Australia’s milk bar boom, supplying cordials and toppings that became family favourites.
Over the decades, we’ve seen Edlyn evolve, continuing its expansion to serve diverse channels like restaurants, hotels, hospitality chains and cafes. Today, we’re proud to be a trusted foodservice partner across Australia and overseas.
