Edlyn Foods is proud to be named a finalist in the Innovation & Enterprise category of the 2025 City of Whittlesea Business Awards.
Our nomination highlighted Edlyn’s commitment to innovation through a range of strategic initiatives. These included the internal Innovation Nation program, customer-led Innovation Days, collaborative research with leading universities such as RMIT, Swinburne and Monash Innovation Centre, and digital transformation projects like the integration of an innovation module into our ERP system. We also showcased early-stage sustainability efforts across carbon reduction, energy efficiency, packaging, waste management, and upcycling.
With a high number of quality entries this year, being shortlisted is a meaningful recognition of the work being done across our Innovation team, company-wide cross-functional contributors, and the strong support from Amir and the Donelly family.
Dr Aida Golneshin, Edlyn’s Business Innovation Manager, emphasised the importance of collective effort: “This achievement reflects the dedication of teams across the business who continue to challenge what’s possible and drive innovation at every level.”
City of Whittlesea Mayor Cr Aidan McLindon shared, “The Business Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise the incredible local businesses that contribute so much to our community… showcasing the innovation, resilience and passion that make our business sector so strong.”
We’re proud to stand alongside this year’s finalists and thank the City of Whittlesea for celebrating innovation, sustainability, and community impact in business.
