Woods Condiments recently teamed up with two of the country’s most respected burger venues – Jollygood Diner and Operator Diner – to celebrate the bold flavour and versatility of our signature Tomato Relish. This social collaboration was all about highlighting how great condiments can elevate everyday classics in professional kitchens.

From indulgent breakfast stacks to next-level cheeseburgers, these kitchens know how to deliver flavour. And with high-performance demands in foodservice, they rely on products that are consistent, cost-effective, and full of character.

Woods Tomato Relish hits that brief every time. We spent some time making burgers with the exceptional head chefs at both venues. We asked Raph Exton-Pery – head, owner and operator at Jollygood – what he liked most about our relish, and he said, "It feels like a nice homemade relish that you’d have at your nan’s house." Funnily enough, our history has its roots in a story just like that, with origins supplying handmade gourmet condiments to Melbourne and Victoria’s markets and restaurants.

At Jollygood Diner, known for its elevated take on all-day American diner fare, the relish found its home inside their signature burgers and sandwiches—cutting through richness and lifting every bite. As owner Raphael Exton-Pery put it, "It feels like a nice homemade relish that you’d have at your nan’s house." It perfectly complements their chef-driven approach to comfort food with finesse.

Over at Operator Diner, a venue built on the energy of a true New York-style diner, the relish helped bring a nostalgic edge to their indulgent breakfast stacks and classic cheeseburgers. "It’s very flavorful, it has sweet, savory and tangy all at the same time. It really lifts everything," said Atma, Head Chef at Operator Diner. For a kitchen that runs from morning coffee to late-night cravings, reliability and flavour matter—and Woods delivers both.

This campaign was more than just a product feature. It was a celebration of the chefs and venues who set the bar for quality and flavour in casual dining. Woods is proud to support the foodservice professionals pushing the burger scene forward, one relish-covered bun at a time.
