Edlyn Foods was proud to participate in FOODEX Japan 2025, Asia’s leading food and beverage exhibition, held in Tokyo from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 March. This year marked the FOODEX's 50th anniversary, welcoming an incredible 72,000 visitors from across the globe. These numbers reaffirm Foodex's position as a major international platform for food and beverage trade.
As part of the Victorian Pavilion, hosted by Global Victoria, we were thrilled to join more than 3,000 global brands and 28 export-ready Victorian companies, representing the very best of Australian food innovation. It was a truly amazing opportunity to showcase Edlyn's Bone Roasters range to a broad audience of distributors, retailers, and culinary professionals from across South East Asia and beyond.
Our presence at FOODEX allowed us to engage directly with new and existing partners, explore consumer trends, and represent Edlyn’s commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability on a global stage. With Japan being Victoria’s second-largest food and fibre export market, a long-standing trade partner, and a world leader in product innovation, it was especially rewarding to connect with their foodservice sector in person.
Attending an international event of this scale was invaluable. We got to experience a diversity of perspectives, approaches, and consumer expectations across different markets. It was a reminder of how much there always is to learn beyond our borders—and how those learnings can help us continue to improve, innovate, and elevate what we do here in Australia.
The knowledge gained at FOODEX will no doubt influence our own work, with renewed energy and a broadened outlook. As always, Edlyn remains dedicated to being at the forefront of our industry and delivering products that align with global demand for trusted, high-quality ingredients.
A huge thank you to Global Victoria for their outstanding support and coordination of Edlyn's attendance.
Until next time, Tokyo!
