On September 10th, Edlyn welcomed the National Hospitality Manager, Regional Managers, and Facility Chefs from Calvary Care for an Innovation Day at Edlyn’s commercial kitchen facility. The event aimed to share insights on industry trends, encouraging forward-thinking and planning, while offering an exclusive tasting of innovative desserts from the Edlyn range.

While desserts typically served in healthcare meet the necessary criteria, they often lack variety and excitement. To address common industry challenges, our Development Chef, Aaron Duffy, crafted vibrant, flavourful recipes that not only highlight the versatility of Edlyn’s products, but also cater to residents with dysphagia.

The event was a resounding success, leaving the Calvary team inspired with fresh ideas to enhance their menu offerings for residents, while enjoying a memorable culinary experience.
