Aug 17: Edlyn speaks at Maryborough Youth Volunteer Expo 2017

As part of the National Student Volunteer Week (14th – 20th August 2017), a number of Maryborough’s local community organisations who require volunteers opened their doors as well as presented as part of a speaker event to students and local youths regarding the wide range of volunteering opportunities that are available within the local area.

Edlyn’s Maryborough Site Manager Windsor Main spoke at event focusing on the value that volunteer work can bring to local youths especially as a building block to becoming job ready in the future.

Windsor also spoke about resume preparation and the things he looks for when shortlisting candidates for roles at Edlyn, one of which is someones involvement in community based activity,

Edlyn celebrated its 1 year anniversary as a local business in the Maryborough region this year and is proud to be doing its bit to help guide the local youth to make positive work and career decisions.
