As part of its mid-year sales conference, the sales & marketing team at Edlyn Foods underwent a day of product training at the Raw Materials food studio in Melbourne.
The day was spent working with many of Edlyn’s products including its cake mixes, self-saucing puddings and delicious range of Wood’s condiments.
Whilst all Edlyn’s sales team have made and used these products in the past, it was exciting to see the new ideas and discussions being had between the teams regarding the different ways in which the products can be used outside of their original purpose.
All teams were given challenges throughout the day but none more exciting than the challenge that involved integrating a series of Wood’s condiments into various ‘main meal’ style dishes.
With several ex chef’s as part of Edlyn’s sales team, imaginations ran wild with so many professional recipes being created.
The results were amazing, with many unusual combinations of condiments being laced into dishes such as risotto’s and Mexican quesadilla’s as well as being stuffed into pork fillets and chicken breasts, being used to crust meats and even used as ingredients to develop other more elaborate sauces.
The day truly showcased how versatile Edlyn’s products can be and that by understanding how these products can be adapted offers the sales team a greater ability to help its customers out in the field.
