Edlyn’s own Product & Packaging Designer Brittany Puyol was recently chosen as a finalist at the 2019 Australian Packaging & Processing Machine Associations (APPMA) Awards of Excellence held on the 27th March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Brittany was included within the 3 finalists vying for the APPMA’s Scholarship for the Australian Institute of Packaging Diploma of Packaging Technology. To become a finalist Brittany completed a thorough essay outlining her current role in packaging & design, her passion for the industry, future goals & how such a scholarship would help benefit her career, as well as underwent an interview with a panel of judges who would ultimately determine of the outcome of the scholarship award.
The Diploma itself is an internationally recognised Level 5 qualification, designed ideally for those wishing to pursue a career in the packaging industry, with the scholarship valued at $9,000.
Edlyn would like to congratulate Brittany on her efforts in becoming a finalist for the scholarship, and wish her luck with her continued endeavours in packaging design and engineering.
